Death and Rememberance

been thinking a loy about death lately... yup my 27th birthday is coming soon, and if this was the world of logans run i'd only have 3 years left. heheh

Anyway, how would you guys like to be remembered after you die, and what is your most preferably form of dieing? Morbid i know, but i think its interesting as we have quite a lot of cross cultural differences here on dac.
Also, what song would you like played at your funeral?

here's mine..

to die:
in my sleep.

to be remembered:
by leaving a large family and having a funeral pyre, (pagan ritual, i've given up on catholisism) i want one fo those pyres with me in it on a grassy hill, then to be set on fire and let my friends and family have a ripping drinking session at it. i just think its better than mourning at a graveyard then going home and getting silently drunk.

Song played at funeral: anything uplifting, preferably early 90's rave and prgressive house. Cosmic baby - Fantasia most likely.

Any kind of death I just dont want to die in a old retirement home or living my final days having to depend on others. I dont think there's any reason for me to be remembered so no I dont want to be remembered.

I really dont care. I quess I wont even have a chance to complain about my dying method after Im dead... atleast I hope.
About funeral: Id like to have a crypt! And the living can have the funeral as they want. :drink:
But why to wonder such things?

I'd probably kill a bunch of people who deserved it and take myself out along with 'em. Not out of spite really; I'd just like to be remembered and do a little good for the world.

Under ideal circumstances, I'd kill a few hundred people before the inevitable .308 round from a police sniper's rifle penetrates my skull.

That being said, it's rather obvious how I'd be remembered.

id prefer to die in search of a lost ancient temple that was lost during the dark ages. death by a trap or some ancient mystical guard that was guarding the temple against tomb robbers.

id hope id be remembered as one of the guys who got lost searching for this temple and inspire others to come and find it and when they do they will see my bones, bring them back to an advanced civilization and reincarnate me to live forever.

Well about how to die? I dont know. Hard to say right now. I wouldnt want it to be suddenly and without meaning though, but id prefer it quick and painless. And who cares about being remembered? Your dead anyway. About the funereal? I think id like to be frozen so I could be revived in the future, just for the hell of it.

hm I'd like to die on a cool drug trip or during sex, or maybe sex on drugs, howeva

for the funeral i want to be thrown into the sea

as for remembering i don't mind really, i'm dead so wtf and i'm not one of those wannabe-important fuckers so i just hope the people i like will keep me in good remembrance or something

i don't really care how i die.

as for my funeral, there's this dutch song called Kraaien (Crows) by a dutch band named Krang. it goes like: go to the cafÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â©, put my coffin on the bar, everyone have a beer, then go to the beach, build a boat out of driftwood, have more beer, dance, laugh, put me on the boat, light it on fire and push me of into the sea.

anyway just learn dutch and listen to the song, it's beautiful.

I would like to die by being stampeded by my harem consisting of a hunderd ethnically and intellectually diverse women whom i all had sex with, regularly, prior to being trampled to death.

Slitting my wirsts and hanging myself make out the very bottom of my list, cause hey, no one rational, or sane for that matter, would want to witness their own death.
