Yup. They have a few good bits in my opinion, but mostly it's just poor guitars and shitty working together (Die, Die My Darling)... Allthough songs like Hate The Living, Love The Dead and Witch Hunt are good.

Have you heard of Six Feet Under then? ;)

Um... if you want to "scare"/annoy someone with playing some band loud, and make them say like "WTF IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE?!" I promise you ...
Six Feet Under (songs: revenge of the zombie, haunted etc.)
Iniquity (songs: bullet's breath, prophecy of the dying watcher)
Dark Funeral (songs: arrival of satans empire, armageddon finally comes)
Bathory (songs: *all of them*)

... are one damn good ones for that purpose.

The fact that I like listening to them pretty much covers all of that.

Children of Bodom - Kissing the Shadows.

Not a big fan of Dimmu Borgir, but they put on a hell of a show live.

Uh no more of that death metal.

Franz, I'm not much a classical music fan. I don't have any classical music CDs, but I've got a couple of mp3s. I mostly have the "popular" ones, Wagner, Mozart, Beethoven, etc, I didn't bother digging up much. My parents have like only classical CDs, so mostly I listen to the classic they listen to.

O.K. you got me, not ALL genre, but a lot of em.... I don't have any pop a la Britney or Justin

I used to like the Prodigy a lot (especially Experience, probably the best album as a whole), but I don't really like the new stuff. I think Keith Flint should've stayed as a dancer. Baby's got a temper... fuck off, I really don't want to hear about your babies ugly man.
...Dude, Keith Flint's the singer (funny haired white guy). Leroy Thornhill's the dancer. And I liked Baby's Got a Temper, good beat--I like Experience too, but that stupid fucking movie Hackers has almost ruined three of the best songs for me. Anyways, don't bother too much with the lyrics; outside of Diesel Power I can't recall any Prodigy song with more than two lines of varying lyrics.

Some more songs I like.

Queens of the Stone Age: Go with the Flow (I, uh, think...I've only heard it on the radio)
System of a Down: Shimmy
Someone mentioned that the songs should be post 19th century, but since a few people have mentioned classical I'll put up a song.
Beethoven: Moonlight Sonata (I've listened to it over and over before for almost an hour)

He IS the singer, but certainly wasn't. Why isn't he "singing" on Experience or Music for the Jilted Generation? Cos he was too busy dancing to Liam's phat beatz, that's why! Download some Experience music vids, you can see him dancing there... Like I said, should've stuck to dancing, he wasn't all that bad
And I don't mind the lyrics, his voice is just so fucking awful

If you want a good beat download something off the list at the bottom of my fav song post on the 1st page, hihi

Might be the really sucky shortened version.

Tubular Bells isn't fun if it's shorter than 10 minutes.

Yeah, with some re-done bits and it's in 5.1. I prefer it over the original (which is pretty good) with the 30th anniversary thingy because it sounds better.

i need to listen to some blue oyster, i listened to a bit of motorhead and they were okay...

rocket reducer 67 btw, and the original title was RAMA LAMA FA FA FA, mc5 fucking rock

and the exploited i like only for superficial reasons, a few songs that sounded good, and some things i agree with... but for the most part i don't think they're too special
