he did independant films, i saw a few clips on PBS once... they were bizzarro

he went to UCLA for film studies and that's where Ray Manzarek met him and convinced him to form a band, i remember reading something from jim's UCLA professors saying that he always had good ideas and shots but was too lazy to splice/edit them

if he did any pornos then they'd be all over the interweb
