3D Modelling

Post by Morganhaha »

Its kinda hard finding 3d modellers out there to talk with, and even harder to find talented ones with a taste for anything post apocalyptic. Are there any 3d modellers on this forum?

Actually I do believe there are some 3d modelers on the forums, I don't know quite who though.

Yea, same. I've had my fun with some of the other progs, never got 3dsmax to run though, so I'm lacking in that department.
Most importantly, I seem to have the understanding of how to create something in 3d. Some people just can't process the procedures and visualize it quite right to be able to do anything.

You probably won't have much luck finding them here. I know I ran across quite a few forums dedicated exclusively to 3d modelling in the past. Try Google. Otherwise maybe some of the 3d gaming forums?

Yeah, I've tried my luck at planet half life under their mod section, and on polycount, but neither of those are really turning up with anything. I'm trying to get a mod going (as i'm sure half of the fallout IRC guys know) but I cant seem to attract any help. You can go to the site at www.wotamod.com , its a post apocalyptic FPS and light RPG for whenever Half Life 2 comes out. I can get the models out of the way now, and compete with the other mods out there, and once HL2 hits, my coders will be useful. But right now, I need some help from some modellers. If you guys know any, maybe you can stear them my way?

If anything, check out the site, I've got the basics of the concept on there, and some concept art, renders, etc. on it too. Check out media ;)

Oh and Strapon2 I love your avatar, it looks sick :D
