Anyways, if I'm still allowed to post about the earlier off-topic discussion here...
... so I think that history has proven well enough that pure 100% socialism can not work. But nor can 100% capitalism either. Capitalist world as it's purest is so cruel that human life has no value in it. Being close to it is good economically, but it must be regulated by society and *surprise, surprise* with socialist means.
Social welfare, monopoly restrictions, anti-cartel laws, unemployment compensations... They're meant to soften capitalism and they're obvious tools of socialism. Mixing up things is good, because things are rarely / never black or white, they're usually different shades of grey.
