I'd say Dilbert is probably first....Followed by...Well...Far Side...Possibly Calvin & Hobbes (though I'm friggin tired of those stupid "piss" stickers on the back of cars..)

Calvin and Hobbes is the best comic, I'd say. And btw, those piss stickers aren't licensed by Waterson, he's against them. And all forms of marketing for that matter. I think he takes his hatred of marketing too far sometimes.

What's wrong with his hatred of marketing? It just makes his comics more distinct. If some fat slob can't appreciate the comic for what it is and demands a t-shirt with the characters on it, why should Watterson compromise his comic just so he can make a few bucks? Besides, that'd be against all of the pseudo-intellectual stuff he put in that comic in the first place. Leave it as a comic, please.

My favorite comics would have to be: Far Side, Calvin & Hobbes, Zits, and the good (non-pretentious bullcrap) comics from the New Yorker. That is all.

Oh, and Illuminati (sp?) does suck.
