I liked the book better, especially since the ending was much better in the context of the source material. {SPOILER!}

The movie version had some hokey perfect family take all the animals in who escaped Napoleon which just kinda cliched the ending abit and probably made Orwell cry afew times in the afterlife. The novel ending, although maybe allitle gloomier was more fitting when the rest of the farm animals realize that the pigs had become exactly what they had been fighting all along. And DAMN IT! We will not have any talks about socialism/communism after this!

Game: Planescape Torment, also for the story and twists. The fightings scenes are... Let's not talk about it. Other than that, I've played HM&M a lot, but not really anymore...
Movie: Uhm. I like Amélie because of that insane look in her eyes when she puts her hand down the bag of corn. But don't hate me for it. Other than that, there's Donnie Darko and “I Kina spiser de hunde (that's Danish for "they eat dogs in China").
Book: Guds blinde øje (in English: God's blind eye), which is absolutely beautiful...
TV show: surprise, surprise: Simpsons.

Games: Blood, Fallout, System Shock 2 & stuff
TV-Shows: Seinfeld, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge and X-Files
Movies: Braindead, Pulp Fiction (only see it once, or it'll suck), Saving Private Ryan, and a bunch of other movies that i can't remember right now :o
Books: The Dark Tower (consists of 7 (2 left :o )books & one novella) (Stephen King), The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (all 5 hitchhiker books + some short story) (Douglas Adams), America Psycho (Bret Easton Hills), and a few that I've forgotten in the passing by.

Games: Jagged Alliance 2, Civilization 2 (Fuckin' sue me), Crimsonland, Nethack
TV Shows: The O'Reilly Factor, so I can have a heart attack from rage and scream at the TV; and Larry King Live, for the same reason. Family Guy and Seinfeld are pretty good, too.
Movies: More than I can remember. Recently I've seen some of Tarantino's and Kurosawa's better offerings, and they're damned good.
Books: Harold and the Purple Crayon, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, anything by Philip K. Dick.

fuck
I heard the animal farm movie was censored and the book's ending replaced with a stupid one. I haven't seen the original or the real ending, so I wouldn't know. However, I think the real ending was rereleased with the rest of the movie some time ago...?

Are you joking? Seinfeld is the funniest sitcom made in the past 30 years. All of the episodes are at least quite funny, and the majority of them are hilarious. Why oh why can't you understand it?Lynxer wrote:Seinfeld is so not funny. I seldomly have a clue as to why the fuck the audience is laughing at his performence.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
Um, spoiler alert?

The ending I saw was that the pigs ended up just as bad as the humans, the farm went corrupt & wrecked and the "rebellious animals" (some dog and a few other survivors) came back and destroyed the "pig empire" for once and all.
The rest was a bit shady, because you were only shown the destruction of the pigs but nothing about the new rebuilding (of course, Russia hasn't been rebuilt either, but still).

seinfeld is not even remotely funny. it reminds me of that one time i attempted to watch friends but then decided only retards watch sitcoms and went to do something else.atoga wrote:Are you joking? Seinfeld might not be a blazing simpsons-type show, but it's still funny. Schubert-isms be damned, most of the humor is pretty social, I guess that proves you're a loser to not get it or something? Ah logic, you never fail me.Mandalorian wrote:seinfeld is not even remotely funny. it reminds me of that one time i attempted to watch friends but then decided only retards watch sitcoms and went to do something else.
