A hungry pig will go through a human body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".

Ok, in that case you mis-understood me (I was un-clear). I was implying that jazz to me is a "minor fancy", albeit a long-standing one. Far from being fickle in this matter, I will always be a jazz-listener.

And about your principle of never trying to verbally devastate someone, I think that's cool and compassionate of you... but I'll stick with my practice of trying to make people cry over online forums, thank you very much

And btw, I think I've found a title which I can keep for quite a while now. This one really fits me I think.

Old jazz, alá the 30's, rocks this new jazz wave's arse to the ground anyday.

No Kashluk, that's new jazz, OLD jazz is from the mid 19th century, think Gold Rush, and Ragtime jazz.

I'm not really an expert on Jazz but I do know that there are many styles. I don't like jazz-fusion much either but I think there are some pretty cool styles out there.

Schubert, most people wouldn't call that older stuff you mentioned 'jazz'... while jazz is partly derived from it, those things are so different that they fit into their own, separate, genre.

Oh yeah, and '20s - '50s jazz rocks.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
