suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Yesh, I know it's based on Alice in Wonderland, but I think it's still different, and better. Mononoke was as good, but different too.

So Millenium Actress is good? It just came out here, I need to rent it. Did you see Perfect Blue?

Perfect Blue was great, it made you feel positively messed up watching it. You know a movie's good when it makes you want to claw your eyes out.

Ichi the Killer was kinda the same way, not anime though. Hell I missed this entire conversation and I don't feel like reading it now, so whatever if it was mentioned already. Ichi wasn't a great movie, but it was definately one of those that make you go "W - T - F" while watching. A guy cutting off his own tounge, and swallowing a fist because his lips got cut open extra down the sides of his face. Amazing and gross and hard to watch. Badish.
