That's true. He went to hospital right after the help arrived and he received such medical treatment that wasn't available when Clint Eastwood was young, somewhere around the 19th century even.

He makes a good point, why the hell are people with a disease, condition etc. regarded as heros when they champion a charity funding research into fixing it.

Its in their own personal benefit, people without said condition who give their own time/money for no benefit to themselves should get all the glory.
