Since we're into non-Fallout art/gibbrish

Got great hand-eye coordination? Here's the place to show it off. You can also upload your work (images, audio, and video) and view our fan art gallery (currently defunct, bug forum management to fix it).
This is also the forum for all of you blossoming Camus' to exercise your brain power by writing and posting fan fiction.

Figured I'd shower you with a few drops of my nonsense

The first and the last are multisided. I think I drew little arrows to explain the angles it can be viewed.

Thanks goes to JJ for the hosting

I don't have anything mean or spiteful to say, other than I don't like Dali much. Your pictures are quite Dali, especially the one with the fork and stuff. He's probably a big inspiration I'd guess?

They are good though, not enough "realism" for my taste in surrealism though ;)

I like the first one best.

The others just seem to be one or two good ideas in a mix of 3d-ish shapes, like you're trying to hard to make it look surreal when it could just be something different?

Like the key is in the foot. I like the mushroom type things in the middle of the page, but the rest is just like a warped plant, nothing much of intrest.

I don't know if you're trying to 'say' anything with these pictures, but you need more focus. It's ok if you have surreal themes mabye, but still have a sort of base?

Good ideas mixed in with bad ones really. Just think of some sort of theme to follow, even if it's just drawing weird shapes in the shape of something or have a recurring image like the mouths or the eyes. Your drawings are good, your ideas are good...it's just the way you carry it out?

Also a background would be nice.

"Obsessions Real Color" rox0rs my sox0rs. Real sweet man, would make a great background image if you just *polished* it up a bit.

I've seen 'em before, and I like 'em all, with the exception of #3, which is kind of boring and doesn't have the trippy, glossy style of your other drawings. Anyway, good stuff, and surrealism rocks, though this is more just a weirdo pattern than genuine surrealism.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

That first one is awesome, it reminds me of peacock's feathers? Bizarro.

I think we all sort of agree that the first one is indeed pretty damned cool..I like it a lot. One of my buddies used to draw stuff like that up and down her arms.

I liked the first one, I think the others are incoherent and perhaps too spaced

Why did I find that funny?

The first one is "TEH WIN", especially since you used blue in it...I don't know, adds a depth the other pictures are missing. Maybe I'm reading too much into one color.

you would probably love Pirinen G.

http://www.dicomics.com/uk/konmus_uk.html

^^ now this is not really my idea of why you would like pirinen - but he have made a ton of stuff close to what you have done, with (ah, and you might be lacking some here) great pencil moves and skills.

I really love his stone cabs, or the sun of shit.

Pretty good artist alright, love his style. Cartoonish, but awesome.

And yeah, I know I'm lacking skill.
