animatrixified
okay, i've seen the animatrix, didnt think much of the first bit "last flight of the osirus" BUT what i did enjoy very much was, The second renaissance parts one and two, the story was actually quite entertaining and i felt sorry for the machines in part one and the humans in part two, this duality made me watch it again and again, some of it was disturbingly gorey but overall enjoyable and (i know i hated the sequels to the matrix) did explain some of the details which were neglected in the matrix reloaded.
In fact i found it less boring and more enjoyable than Revolutions and Reloaded. has anyone seen and liked this?

It was pretty good--lots of nice imagery (the scene where they tear open the robot-girl's shirt and then bash her face in comes to mind) and the animation was of good quality...sad that after the intriguing and interesting Animatrix we're awarded with a ten minute long Dragonball Z fight at the end of Revolutions.
HEY WHERE THE WHITE WOMEN AT???

I personally liked "A Detective's Story" because it was like a sci-fi noir movie. It would have been better without Trinity though. I liked "The Second renaissance", it had interesting imagery and proved pretty realistic (like as to how people and such would act). Probably the part that sticks out in my mind is where the girl gets her shirt ripped off and her face bashed in while screaming "I'm not a robot" and the part before the major battle where the humans are preparing for battle. I also liked the battle armor mech thingies better then in Revolutions, they seemed better equipped for combat.
Harriers for the cup.

I just watched it over Christmas... It was ok I guess, some of them sucked like World Record and Detective, but the one with the kids was pretty good, the Program was pretty good... I didn't care too much for the animation style in most of them though, I prefer actual anime-animation as opposed to the 3d cell-shaded stuff.
