bullshit
But seriously, that "silly shit" - part of your post kinda caught me. If you start moralizing about drug usage, then you should moralize about alcohol usage as well.
Yeah, because alcohol can be compared to speed like dat!

The celebration was fairly low-key... stayed up with a bunch of people, drank champagne (ew), played games, blah blah blah.

The best part was when I was bored and everybody else was gone or sleeping, I made this really trippy claymation at around 6 am. It was quite professional.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Uh, no, alcohol is not directly comparable to other than lighter drugs, but the fucked up principle of living only for momental satisfaction through some mixture of chemicals that twists your vision of reality is all the same. Seeing alcoholics ruin their lives just as bad as drug addicts, I must say that they both have equally devastating outcome.

No?

Sex is a momental satisfaction. It's a mixture of chemicals and body fluids and such.

I just can't live without my sexohol.

Um alcohol is LEGAL speed is not.

The rate of drug addiction is FAR higher than alcoholism. The crime involved in a good deal of drug addiction cases clearly make it far more damaging than base alcoholism.

Now stop trying to twist my words you cretin, i said alcohol is crucial for a well lubricated social gathering. I take it youve been to parties where they dont have any drinks? Bar the few naturally charismatic people that might be there said party would be fucking stilted.

( --> mixture of chemicals [add]from outside your body[/add] )

Yeah, like ED's signature says: "beer - helping ugly people have sex since 1862". Being drunk is a really good basis for a long, loving & lasting relationship.

And being legal ties up with the crime involved... Like during the 30's, when alcohol was illegal mafia was born. Maybe drugs would be used differently, if they were legal instead of alcohol?

But when you look at two tombstones, where the left guy died in speed overdose / shot by a dealer and the right guy died in alcohol overdose / crashed while drunken driving, can you tell the difference?

Edit: Hmph... well, on a second thought, I did actually twist your words quite a bit there. Sorry, it was unintentional. My brains just can't keep up processing everything with the speed of my eagerness to reply. Bummer.

reading books with pictures isn't much to brag about.

Isn't drug use just the same as anything? It's the same as alchohol, meat, fighting, sex, money, family, walking really slowly, not doing anything, going on the computer, sleeping. Too much of anything will kill you, so what's the point in worrying about the details? If someone enjoys one mix of chemicals, why bother about another?

A)The idea of legalizing currently illegal drugs like Methamphetamines and pot in order to lower crime rate related to drug addiction isn't new. Pretty sure it's being done already in several places. Thumbs up to that idea(no sarcasm attached).

B)READ A BOOK, THAT OUGHTA HELP YOU IDENTIFY MY AVATAR! I SUGGEST THE ATLAS FIRST, MAYBE MOVE ON AFTERWARDS TO THE BIBLE, IT'S GOT TO BE THERE SOMEWHERE!!!11111111

Pyro, saying drugs are like alcohol is sort of an oxymoron? And you can't realy compare "drugs" to everyday activity.

I meant drugs (illegal chemicals used too have a good time or something) as less mainstream stuff than beer. All the other things I listed could be classed as a drug to. Probably.

Not realy.... I think you're confusing addiction with habit, and what's more is that not all drugs are addictive.

I didn't know kashluk was whining about addiction, just the harmful effects? Like being an addict is a harmful effect and leads to other harmful effects. And everything can lead to you missing it mentally, though some of the heavier things can make you miss it physically?

I dunno mate, you're the doctor round here. cheers.

But because the addiction rates are different, does that make the addiction good at all? Seems like a 'Lesser of the Two Evils' thing, heh.

Both are bad, both kill, one kills more than the other, but how does that make one good?

We had a couple of firecrackers go off. Nothing too big. Illegal here. I myself haven't lit a firecracker in about 12 or so years.
