The best reason to NOT buy Fallout Enforcer
<strong>[Game -> Update]</strong>
Per <A href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewto ... 3785">this thread</A> on <A href="http://www.nma-fallout.com/">No Mutants Allowed</a> on the subject of a <a href="http://www.gamebanshee.com/interviews/f ... hp">recent interview</a> between a garbage swiller and a feces monkey, one of the developers of <b>Van Buren</b> had to say this in regards to one of the <b>Fallout Enforcer</b> team members saying that BIS was consulted on and proud of <b>Fallout Enforcer</b>:
<br>
<br><blockquote>I call bullshit. I don't recall anyone in BIS who spoke with the FBOS design team and them actually taking our input. Again, I call bullshit. Personally, I never even met this "designer," and I'm uncertain if anyone from the Van Buren team who ever said more than 2 words to him. Maybe it was another BIS team he was referring to... There was little to no interraction between the FOBOS team and the Van Buren team.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>Even more fun is the part where I said that <b>Fallout Enforcer</b> is the reason <b>Van Buren</b> was killed off because <b>Darth Molitor</b> was pulling resources from <b>Van Buren</b> to make <b>Fallout Enforcer</b>, thus making <b>Van Buren</b> take longer. The developer had to say this:
<br>
<br><blockquote>Damn straight. I'll 100% confirm this.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>There, you have all the facts. The reason there's no <b>Fallout 3</b> is because <A href="http://www.interplay.com">Interplay</a>'s <b>Darth Molitor</b> crippled the project in order to get <b>Fallout Enforcer</b> to the shelves, then cancelling the project because it would have taken longer because of this. So, <b>Fallout Enforcer</b> is what killed <b>Fallout 3</b>.
<br>
<br>Anyone want to bet that they're going to slap the <A href="http://www.blackisle.com">BIS</a> logo on <b>Fallout Enforcer</b> now in order to boost sales of it?

And so a new thread is added to the web of lies deceit and shame* that is FOBOS. Thank you Interplay, I hope you die.
And no Spazmo all you get for buying FOBOS is a ticket to the ninth circle of hell.
*Please also see: vice, ignorance, ineptitude, shitoonery, fuckery, pig-headedness, and numerous other words phrases and expletives I dont care to think of at the moment.

funny thing, the more things leak about the true reasons for fallout 3 not seeing the day of light, the more the whole story reminds me of some sort of weird fallout quest. With every new dialouge (interview) more fragments of the whole story are revieled and things start to make sense, though I wonder what the ultimate goal of this quest might be

Reminds me of a Baldur's Gate quest. Lots of stupid bullshit and going around in circles.Shino wrote:funny thing, the more things leak about the true reasons for fallout 3 not seeing the day of light, the more the whole story reminds me of some sort of weird fallout quest. Yup! And they've already got the Fallout team lined up for it, after FOBOS2, chuck can move right on over! Think about it, FO3 was only half done? Well, the other half can EASILY be completed by using models / gameplay ideas from FOBOS. Win!POOPERSCOOPER wrote:Whatever gets Interplay more money is good, becuase then they will make better games like FO3 LEWL
Shame, shame, though really, that was pretty easy to see coming. I doubt Interplay will have any word on the matter though, since the BISers aren't employed by them anymore. It's likely they'll just ignore the whole thing.
Who the hell is Darth Molitor anyhow? Some Interplay financer pimp? Enlighten me.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

This doesn't surprise me, since everything that's come out of Interplay's mouth is pure BS. What I want to know is why did Chuck C. leave? I mean he was pretty much given the resources to make his "dream" game, had so much "creative" input in Fallout: BOS that he completely altered Fallout canon, and was pretty much given a guaranteed sequel. He got what every game designer would kill for. So there's gotta be a story behind why he left. Maybe Interplay only hired him because he's a minority, to get a tax-break?
