I know what you mean. One good female friend of mine is a goth, so to speak, but she doesn't fall into the spectrum most goths fall into.

As long as a goth doesn't go for the whole angsty-teen shit I don't have a problem with them. It's not the mode of dress that bothers me, it's the bloody pathetic teen-angst.

Most 'goths' do not fall into the same spectrum as the 'mainstream goths' but that doesn't make them any less pathetic than they already are.
