It's a quote from another thread. Items might be useless, but if they're a part of the setting, why shouldn't they be there? This is just a motor we're talking about, how about those "Iguana-on-a-stick"? Junk? Pocket lint? Chemistry Journals? T-51b Power Armor repair manual? Radios? Flowers? Make-up? Diamond Necklaces? Small Statuettes? Instant Noodles? Dice? Loaded Dice? Gold Tooth? Marked Cards? Regular Deck of Cards? Roentgen Rum? Gamma Gulp Beer?
I seriously doubt every one of those items has an unfinished quest attached.

Ok... you guys got me convinced it isnt an unfinished quest, it still could be but its a very remote possibility (damn you guys brain washed me )
So two words SCREW THE MOTOR (ok 3 words whatever)
"When Angels deserve to die." - SoaD (System of a Down)
Beef Jerky (can't eat it!), the T51b Manuals, the bag, the flowers, the motor as we've seen, the bowl of petunias, the Scorpion Claws... And well, ok, that's not tons, but it's still a lot, and I'm quite sure there are more then that.
Beef Jerky is givin to Yellow Dog in Klamath to get the key to trapper town.
The petunias are there in the SE because of their presence in the book. Th flowers for flavour/reminding us of the Children of the Cathedral in FO1. The bag is in Fallout 2 somewhere around the john in Modoc. It can be used to organize your items just like you could in fo1.

Manuals are useless.
Bag?
Flowers?
Petunias?
From Fallout the bags and backpacks hold items- hold the left button and move down to the use hand to open it. I used to sell them, then accidently figured this out.
Wasn't the Junk item in the Boneyard? On that dead merchant by the Deathclaws? I can't remember precisely, but i think you needed them for Miles in Adytum to repair the irrigation for his farm or something like that?
Though it was completely useless in Fallout 2, it was worth 20$ or something small like that

Shit, I never finished that quest! Dunno why, but when the doc told me to talk to the scavenger the leatherjacket dude didn't have a chat-option about the issue!
Annoyed the hell out of me, because it was such a simple quest and it would've helped Boneyard.
