[ -> Review]
X-Box Addict has posted their review of FOPOS, here's a snip.
I’m sure some may like Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, but for me it was dejavu. Been there done that, and as much as I truly hate comparing games when doing a review, I’ll leave you with this final example. In Baldur’s Gate DA, your first quest to get the key to unlock whatever is to rid the cellar of rats. In Fallout your first quest as you roll into town is from the mayor, who will give you a key after you rid a warehouse of scorpions. Not to mention the levels are also just mazes that just wind you around and around just like you know who. I wanted Fallout to be good, I love Road Warrior type stuff, and as much as I hate to say it…Fallout is Baldur’s Gate in disguise.
The reviewer is obviously a console only gamer (you'll figure that much after reading the first line of the review) and apparently, if IPLY wants to go console only they're going to have to work a little harder. Read the full review here. Thanks to the chuckle heads in #RPGCODEX for pointing this out.

They started making shitty games. They forgot that only so many idiots could be attracted to their stuff, even with the best marketing possible (and we all know Interplay's marketing is pure shit). There's no one event that sparked IPLY's downfall that I know of, it's just that they got stupid and lazy.
I like that review. It's not especially scathing, and it's certainly basic and commercial enough to turn console gaming babies off of the game. Great job.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
I'm not talking about the final score, I'm just talking about how he refers to the game... he doesn't say "THIS IS A BLATANT FUCKING RIPOFF OF BG:DA," he just says that the game smacks of it a little too much. Nothing he says is really outright hostile; he's just saying it was a letdown and it could use a little special something. So, especially after listening to everybody here diss this game, the reviewer does seem quite soft.

Wow, a scathing opinion of the game not written by an EVIL VILE FO FANBOY. I took a look at the Iplay fora and somebody had posted a link to the review. No replies yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing how FOPOS supporters will rationalize this. Especially when there's a torrent of negative reviews for the game.
