Hey i read those interview Saint and i bought soldier of anarchy good stuff.

As for the lmagod even if i am a so called n00b the spam and goatse emoticon are quite horrible.

Upset me? It downright pissed me off. It still pisses me off. I'm very pissed.

Still count me as a friend. Let me lay some cards out on the table. I'm the one that yanked your admin powers and told Killian to change all the passwords. I'm the one that restarted the forum. Surely you have to know that I was the one who did it because you still left me with admin powers while you stripped Killian's. I'm the only one who could have done it.

Why did I do it? Simple. You gave Odin our stuff without even asking us. You don't just hand out FTP and control panel passwords without asking the whole staff just because you're pissed off at one of the staff members. That's totally uncool. You didn't talk to me. You didn't talk to Mad Max. You didn't talk to Killian apparently either.

Apparently the only person you did talk to was Lark. Like you said, I've been at this site since it moved from GameSpy. Killian got us a host and bought the domain. He's been here ever since as well. Mad Max has done a great job of keeping up on the news(Even though Mad Max RW sucks nuts). You supposedly retired months ago. Yet, you talked to none of us, you just did it.

Dude, you like TOTALLY lost the high ground thing when you handed out the control panel and FTP passwords. Don't even TRY to go there.

I think what killzig did was a act of boredom then anything else, wich caused confusion on the board and community, the DaC is close was not funny.

Id rather frequent a different site, but don't care for NMA's format.

I didn't really know the whole story. These little chat things are funny. You ever notice how nice people are to each other when they're on those? And then when they're on these forums they turn all hostile and stuff. Especially if someone doesn't share their views. Of course, its mainly megatron I've seen do this, but he's Killzig's friend so they're both pretty much the same to me.

It's time to move on I guess. Maybe I'll come back to occasionally check the FOT editing forum. Maybe even post.

I wouldn't feel right otherwise. I mean, isn't DAC Kree-gle's creation? You could at least change the name if you're going to take it over. Maybe South Park or Beavis and Butthead would do? I dunno, sounds appropriate though.

I don't think that what Kree-gle did was right (taking down the site) but then, wasn't he provoked? Just think about it.. What would you do if you wanted to get rid of someone? You'd provoke them, just like Killzig did. He was getting rid of competition. Wonder who's next?

Oh well, who cares. Maybe I can actually make my own Fallout site in the future or something :-P

No, DAC was founded by some guy named Jay back in 1998. Kreegle kind of got it after Jay decided to up and leave, a.k.a. retire. Kreegs retired this year and handed everything over to us.

BTW- Kreegs never talked to me about this either. :\

Taking down the site wouldn't have bothered me. We could have worked everything out if that's all that was done. Everyone would be happy now. Handing out our FTP and control panel passwords though, that's damned serious shit. That's like the big NO-NO when it comes to working on a website with people. It's just something you don't do. It's that line in the sand that must never, ever be crossed.

It's basically like fucking your spouse's sibling. They'll never trust you again.

I wrote about 3 or 4 long replies, but couldn't make up my mind what to post. So I'll keep it short and sweet. This is all a hobby! The website thing, chatting with idiots online, post apocalyptic bullshit, or whatever the fuck. It's not THAT important. I'm not saying I'm not grateful. It's awesome Kreegs gave me the chance to post news at DAC. You gave me something to do which I enjoyed, even when others don't give a shit.

Some have to take things a little more seriously and some a little less seriously around here. And if people want change, then let's all fucking agree on something and get to it. Not doing anything leads to stupid shit like this.

Apart from a few rare individuals, I seem to be the only one with any say concerned at the abuse and shit that gets thrown around here. It's gone too far, for too long - even under the nose of people like yourself. Nobody seems keen to stop it... it's like a cute little game for the elite, and it's been allowed to carry on for far too long.

So when yesterdays events unfolded, that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Enough is enough - I don't want the memory of DAC to sink any godamn further. I closed the site, things had gone too far (goatse smileys ALREADY?!)

It wasn't just because of Killzig, although he plays a major role in why. It's the attitudes of everyone, the willingness of people I called friends to trash the site, the constant hate-spreading and bullshit that DAC has become.

Yes, I just did it. I didn't consult you, or anyone else. I didn't post a thread in the suggestions forum asking "Has this shit gone too far?". I've tried stuff like that with the mods... it didn't fly.

So - I took action and laid the old, ruined DAC to rest. Then I gave Odin access to a site I put 90% of together. I apologise for not thinking and not considering the other 10%.

As far as I'm concerned, while I was retired, I was still occasionally doing stuff, maybe not as much as I did four years ago though. It's hard to turn your back on something you helped build. You have RPGCodex, and obviously prefer it to DAC, because you'll post Fallout news there but not here. Fair enough, I don't hold anything against you for that. RPGCodex is your baby, much like DAC has been mine for four years. I don't want to see it go down. So I made the choice.

And this is no game - I'm not looking for high ground - I remain super-fucking disappointed. Not with you though.

This is what I don't understand. It'd be like if Miroslav suddenly came back to NMA and did the same thing to Odin. You shouldn't say you're "retired" or tell people that you're handing the site over to them if you really have no intention of retiring or handing the site over.

A nice clean Fallout site would be nice, refreshing, and something quite different. Maybe I can actually check into making and/or working on something like that. I've been considering starting my own website for a while now. It'd be nice if people had a place to go to if they didn't want to see obscenities and/or fisting.. ech.. Some people really need to get a life.

But anyway, for what its worth, water sleeps?

90%? Well, let's check on those figures, link by link.

There's the fan art and fan fiction. You organized those with cute little tables you did in Dreamweaver, but someone else wrote them and crafted the art. Oh, hey, there's a few bits of shitty art I did in there as well.

There's the fan features link. You made a nice table there. Good for you.

There's the links page. That's pretty sweet. A little use of the <center><center> followed by some standard HTML href linking and a banner or two.

There's our seven hosted sites, two of which I brought on board, so I can claim 29% of that.

There's Killian's Kiddie Pool, which needs to be updated much more often but that's mostly Killian with a bit of Dan Wood at the end.

There's the Fallout Bible stuff, you converted it to HTML and added some tables. Nice work.

There's the interviews link, which leads to the Under Construction page. I guess we'll give you credit for that, since you made the Under Construction page.

There's the game interviews link, both interviews I did, but you did the coversheet for them. Kudos.

The old style 40s and 50s advertising gallery.. That was me.

The Editor Files link. There's some of your pretty tables. Boy, aren't they nice. Props to Kreegle.

The Editor Guides thing, all written by other people.. But hey, YET ANOTHER KREEGS MADE TABLE for the front end.

Bla blah blah.. I could go on, but what's the point? Most of DAC's content was user submissions. Sure, you did the item list for Fallout, but honestly, who cares? There's hundreds of those on the internet, and most of them are far nicer anyway. It's nice to have, but NMA's flat out spanks ours. They've had the same one for years, so there wasn't a point in even making one.

OK, now you're attacking me after I apologised, and rubbishing / belittling my work. If you set out to hurt me, good work - you've suceeded. I guess we can call the friendship off after all.

You can have Duck and Cover. Keep it. You obviously care for it more than I do.

All I ask is that all of my shitty tables and other worthless bits and pieces get removed from this site and passed along to NMA. Please don't leave any trace of my work being here.
