Yeah, all jokes aside, Kreeg has great character, akin to a bunch of members here that have my respect. Get as upset as you guys want, but this isn't the way to handle this. You're all attacking this as you would Interplay and the disaster that that has become.

You have to look past the black spot on the white wall. Like any marriage, you have bad days that make way for the good days, and there have been more of those. Days you love and days love is much harder to work at. I'm not a religious man, but lest ye cast a stone who is without sin and all that junk.

In other words, there is no damage done so this is getting ugly for the sake of bombast and machismo, and no one is impressed.

I'm behind all of the leaders here, not just kreegle and not just Saint and not just Killz...so with that said...you guys are all acting like a bunch of assholes right now. This is unprofessional and should've been dealt with in private. This is embarassing. You guys were/are all friends.

I like the smilies.

Cheers...idiots

And we're all working together behind the scenes right now on what to do with DAC. So STFU, BIATCH!

No.My first language is Greek. Well i was kind of angry before and i talked too much.

Here are the short version of my arguments.

I like to post in Duck and cover.

You closed it . Saint reopened it.

As for the hostile enviroment what did you expect with Iplay cancelling Fallout 3 and killing BIS and making the excrement ?

That ppl in D&C would be happy ?

People in NMA found a new purpose . Waiting for the Fall.

People in D&C will find something similar to do .

Sheepfucker wrote: Rosh - when you were mod at fallout2.net, I DISTINCTLY remember you telling everyone to bail out and head over to the NMA forums (before the Gamespy announcement). You had no love of the site then, why now? Jay's influence obviously wasn't enough, sure as fuck mine wasn't.
BACK THE FUCK RIGHT UP THERE, SHEEPFUCKER!

If you want to put words into my mouth, then let's go, shithead.

That announcement was made long before your sorry ass even graced the front page of DAC in any form. It was when Jay was considering closing the site and I even asked him if I should tell people to go to another forum. Well, it was kind of a no-brainer, since most of the people who were on DAC at that time also visited NMA at some frequency.

I had offered to take over DAC later on, after the site stuck around for a bit longer there, but Jay said he had someone already to do it, so I left well enough alone except for the forums.

I had no love for the site? Who the fuck do you think listened to the .wav files on the site and captioned them? Who do you think scoured the internet for many of the nostalgic sound files also featured on the site? Jay got a fair number of them, but I managed to get a couple of the rarer ones, especially a favorite audio of an "atomic bomb safety reel", however much those are a joke. Yeah, I really hated the site, so therefore I spent that amount of time on it. That makes jack shit for sense, there. I also notice that nearly all the work that I did somehow seemed to vanish from the site in one of its moves. At least it was fair that you didn't use it uncredited, but thanks for throwing it away without bothering to ask me about it. Or, for that matter, even bother trying to get in contact with me.

No, the only one who has no love for the site is the person who is so blinded upon themselves they think they can just use people and do whatever the fuck they want with the material and fuck anyone else who might have had a hand in the site.

Just eat a fucking bullet, waste.

They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

Actually this whole dac ordeal give me the giggles, and we're not focusing on The Fall. Hell who's the one with the Fall section in their site?!

Funny, because the first time Silverdawn offered the Gamespy deal to us, it was through an email he sent to me. I told Jay, and he loved the idea, and asked me to draft up an email back to Joost saying we accept. Hunt down Jay and ask him yourself if you don't believe me.

I'll hop onto archive.org and see if I can dig up that post you made. I replied to it, saying "Cheers Rosh", but you didn't reply. That stuck in my memory.

And please grow up - personal insults aren't necessary.

Edit - I'll just add: Sorry for your work being lost. Jay was the main one responsible for putting a new design together (it was flash based, and never really got finished), so we just transferred the materials from his flash design into the one on RPGPlanet. I didn't know who's work was who's - you might want to chat with Jay about that too.

You might want to read a bit better. The announcement you claimed that I said, for everyone to "move to" NMA, was done long before you ever showed up. It was at one of the times Jay was gone for an extended period of time. That is the second time I've said that. I hope I don't have to point it out a third time.

Well, it must have been a miracle because until GameSpy, you really didn't participate on the forums.

Speaking of memory, how about this, which was the first time *I* heard of the move?
For what seems like an eternity now, we've been working on a top-secret project... something quite big and special...
A new Duck and Cover Site!
Yes - this site you are looking at now has been replaced with our sleek and ultra-sexy new site at:
http://www.rpgplanet.com/fallout
Oooooooooh yeah. We did this for you, friend - so please drop by and say hello. Then stay a while. Put your feet up. We'll do our best to make you comfy.
-Kreegle
And please grow up - personal insults aren't necessary.
Neither is being a shithead. You put words into my mouth, including that I hated the site. That might be what your mind might have come up with while you were on crack, but I doubt I would have stuck around a site I didn't like. Nor would I have helped out.

That's not the post I remember... I didn't know there was more than one. The one I saw was fresh - at the top of the message board.
Rosh wrote:Well, it must have been a miracle because until GameSpy, you really didn't participate on the forums.
True, that was your domain.
Rosh wrote:Speaking of memory..<snip> which was the first time *I* heard of the move?
Jay didn't tell you? "For what seems like an eternity now, we've been working on a top-secret project." You know I didn't really have much contact with you back then - sorry. Jay had been working on the RPGPlanet site for aaaages before that announcement.
Rosh wrote:Neither is being a shithead. You put words into my mouth, including that I hated the site. That might be what your mind might have come up with while you were on crack, but I doubt I would have stuck around a site I didn't like. Nor would I have helped out.
I didn't say you hated the site - that's putting words into MY mouth. I also said you didn't loathe, scorn or distrust the site. I said you didn't think highly enough of the site to keep people posting there.

I'm not lying either - I honestly remember that post, because it bothered me at the time. You were responsible for the forums, and I was the news guy - when I saw that I felt a little betrayed... but as we didn't know eachother, nothing much came of it.

You didn't like me all the way back then... that much that you wouldn't have helped out? What did I do to make you dislike me? You seemed nice enough when we've talked in the past.

I don't do crack, by the way... I prefer meth.

Goodluck with what you gonna do Kreegle. Ignore all these 'wise' people and start a new project or something mate.

Ey, who cares they call you a sheepfucker, how the hell do they know? Maybe you like to fuck Kangaroo's instead.

They think they know, but they don't. Everyone is a psychic here. Look at most of the people that come here, I will bet you atleast half of em are overweight and so unsuccesfull they have to point people on spelling errors to make themselfes feel good, how in godsname can those people hurt yer feelings? Right, not.

Later man.

I've been seeing this a lot lately and don't really understand where this impression is coming from. I don't think it's become the purpose of anyone in the forums, as it's never discussed. It might get mentioned on the front page a fair amount but it's also one of the only post-apoc rpg's coming out anytime soon, if not the only one.

I'm betting at least half of the people who make assumptions about other people being inferior and needing to point out other's inferiority so they can feel superior are also included in the overweight category.

Don't forget, they're also all single, white, and unemployed.

Wow someone cared enough to take away my little nukies and change my rank. That makes me feel so special :-)
