Well i am sorrry buit 17000 for a pc game is not enough, i dont want to seem negative but it's a fact. I am sure that if fallout 3 is out they will sell more then 17000 copy, but don't eever forget NOLF they only sold 2000 copy in the first 2 months. And that's not couinting software piracy wich is a reallly big deal right now, and it's continue to grow, you can't deny it. So that's why compagnie is turning into console, because console piracy is less popular then p.c gaming piracy.

abnathpryde, everything you suggest has been tried with Interplay. We have had many petitions, etc but it will not matter. I would suggest you brush up on the history of the community before making any assumptions instead of listening to others who may give you a false impression. That is if you want to be taken seriously. Your arguments are very weak so you arne't going to get much response here except flames. May I ask how old you are?
Also you didn't answer my question on how BOS compares to other current console action titles.

apparently intellectuality became an impossibility the moment you decided to join inabnathapryde wrote:I'm glad we are handling this topic with a level of intellectual integrity...

Hurrah! Did you know that there were loads of polls on the IPLY site last year, and most of them had the option "Fallout 3" in one form or another. FO3 won 90% of the polls... so I'd rather spend my 5 secs on something a bit more useful kthxbyeabnathapryde wrote:http://forums.interplay.com/viewtopic.php?t=38250

Actually you fail to realize that with your initial attitude, you owe us the time we wasted trying to brush up your visible lack of netiquette. You owe us as much as anyone would, if said anyone was to flood a board with asumptions, theories and questions that are painfully obvious on a staggering naivete. The fact you can't back up anything you say, and fail to accept what people here have to say doesn't exactly help you save face.abnathapryde wrote:You fail to realize that with your initial attitudes here I owe you guys absolutely nothing
It's called positive reinforcement, you'll come to like it.I have gotten nothing but derogatory responses from all of you including your moderators...
Yes, we're unprofessional because we don't join your quest. Good thinking.this forum is the most unprofessional and uncivilized (next to maybe Stile Project, but not far off) I have ever been on
No truer words were ever said.I'm just as glad to leave this forum as I'm sure you guys are to see me go....
Also, Gimp Mask kindly went out of his way to point out to YOU, that no less than 32,000 signatures asking for a Fallout 3 exist. Not 3000, not 17,000, just 32,000. Why hasn't your precious Interplay done anything about it? Gee, i wonder why. Guess they don't get any support, do they? If they wanted to do anything kid, they would've done so.
So, kindly change the attitude and the obnoxious fairy tale wishful thinking antics and learn to accept the truth, or go to another forums with your wannabe messianic polls and live your dream. The choice is yours. KTHNXBYE!!
Your idols speak so much of the abyss, yet your morals only run as deep as the surface.
This whole argument, just listening to it, is idiotic. 33,200 signatures there may be, but I'd reckon at least half of them are from Ausir (look at the first 500 signatures if you want a laugh), and a large fraction of what remains is made from similar people repeatedly signing the petition.
It's a moot point, anyway. If you think a petition - an petition on the net, mind you - is going to change anything, fucking forget it. Yeah, when a bunch of fat assholes are sitting around the Interplay boardroom are sitting around smoking cheap cigars and discussing the Fallout 3 situation, I'm sure they'll be sold when they learn that 30,000 people from Poland say they'll buy the game.

suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Looks like I wasn't far off when I said the only people praising it are the cockgobblers from the IPLY forum.abnathapryde wrote:http://forums.interplay.com/viewtopic.php?t=38250

Nice job telling the hall monitor on us, YOU PUSSY! I still want to know how FO:BOS measures up to other games that've come out...other adventure games, specifically Jak and Daxter; how does a fairly recent title compare to a 3 year old game.abnathapryde on the IPLY forums wrote:You're tellin' me, the Moderators of DAC were actually calling me rather derogatory and profane names, and their Administrator is very rude as well....you'd think I had the right to like BOS without being told I need to die...

No surprise whatsoever there. People (and I use that term very loosely -- I have a nagging suspicion that people like abnathapryde are of the prokaryotic persuasion) do show a tendency to spout ignorant bullshit, then run off to other lower life forms for emotional support when they get called on it. Learning to be less retarded is a better solution, but extra-chromosomed individuals aren't quite world reknowned for their problem-solving skills. The Gaijin wrote:Nice job telling the hall monitor on us, YOU PUSSY!abnathapryde on the IPLY forums wrote:You're tellin' me, the Moderators of DAC were actually calling me rather derogatory and profane names, and their Administrator is very rude as well....you'd think I had the right to like BOS without being told I need to die...
You'd think that at least one FOBOS supporter would be able to debate without the broken crutches of red herrings, straw men, lies, and good old fashioned bullshit, but I haven't seen 'em yet.
Out of all the points he conveniently ignored, this has got to be one of the biggest ones. Aside from issues such as FOBOS raping the Fallout setting and killing Fallout 3, why the hell should anybody be expected to pay fifty dollars for a game that pales in comparison to bargain bin software?I still want to know how FO:BOS measures up to other games that've come out...other adventure games, specifically Jak and Daxter; how does a fairly recent title compare to a 3 year old game.
Are you capable of carrying a conversation without being a clueless idiot?abnathapryde wrote: Are any of you capable of carrying a conversation without being offensive
Good riddance. We don't need another clueless netnewbie who has no idea of netiquette, nor has enough apparent intelligence to figure out the simplest of concepts nor figure that it's a bad idea to post about shit you have little background knowledge about, nor has done research of information to figure out that Interplay doesn't care about petitions at all and have said as such through their whore Sean K Reynolds. Hell, the dumb shit even posted some garbage about PayPal and funding Fo3 that way. Let me guess, abnathapryde, you were dumb enough to fall for that idea, too?You fail to realize that with your initial attitudes here I owe you guys absolutely nothing and don't need to fully describe who or what I am including age or how I compare a game to others, I have gotten nothing but derogatory responses from all of you including your moderators...this forum is the most unprofessional and uncivilized (next to maybe Stile Project, but not far off) I have ever been on, I'm just as glad to leave this forum as I'm sure you guys are to see me go....
You will be missed. No seriously, you will. We need someone to point out and say "If you do something that stupid, you're going to wear your ass as a hat."
Obsidian:
Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!
They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

No we won't, as everyone has stated in this thread, you are a clueless idiot. My recommendation is that you should cut your balls off, to ensure your chronic stupidity genes do not have a chance to spread and create more morons.Only time will tell really, if BOS succeeds and the fans continue to ask for FO3 I'm sure we will eventually see FO3,
I have returned from my dark slumber....

From the very beginning, talking down with veiled contempt.
I am not clear about the true intention of this missionary.
I sense no agent of change, only an agent provocateur.
Ran 'home' to the Iplay Forums and disdained the savages of DAC and NMA.
If this pond be so ""pitifully small"" why troll it to stoke oceanic self esteem.
Perhaps the tilting of windmills has ulterior motives. Little fish to be hooked with the data traps masked as polls and petitions. There is no basis for this guess, but I see nothing else positive or constructive with attitudes of moral superiority presuming to enlighten those PROFILED as ignorant and the unwashed.
It's one thing to preach to the converted.
It's another game entirely to debate and sell points of view. Or were you here to sell copies of FO:BOS? The thread topic WAS a FO:BOS review.
So, you bought it and liked it, but others haven't and won't. Why try to extort agreement by holding FO3 hostage? Can't tell us why you liked FO:BOS, no "like" or "as" poetry, but WE NEED to BUY it? If you need our agreement that you are right on a matter that is personal and subjective, how can you be our moral superior?
Unless this is a case of the righteous as always being right, with the fail safe mind set of even when they're wrong they're right.
So maybe it was a "tough love" stance. Does the "tough love" doctrine advocate dis'ing and insults?
And insults, veiled or unveiled, conscious or unconscious, are still insults.
