I already set it up. The Wasteland at Psychopuffs is open and dedicated to DAC.

I'm not so sure about having the Wasteland, it should be members only and hidden if you are not a member. Anyone who wants to be a member should be allowed in. And if it does fly, then any wasteland content or attitudes should stay within the wasteland.

I donno about confining "attitudes" to the wasteland, people who like the wasteland are going to have to have a particular "attitude" in the first place. You could contain spamming and open flaming attitudes, however. And content wouldn't be too hard, with some strict moderation.

I've wanted the wasteland back the entire time, however I kept my mouth shut about it because I knew bitching about it wouldn't do any good and the admin's wouldn't back down. However, now I believe enough time has passed, so.... let's bring it back!

Ah hell give them back the wasteland, if only to shut them up! But do it like JJ suggests and also make it a locked forum where you can't create new threads. Then just set up half a dozen or so topics, clearly labelled i.e. Ask Hammer, Goatse, Tubgirl, Tentacle Pron, Furries, the Communism Debate, etc. Then people can just post in the appropriate thread, after all most of the stuff in the original wasteland came under one of those catagories.

Also make it a rule no posting pics only links otherwise it takes forever to open over a dial up. Sheesh the who's sexier thread at NMA takes nearly 20 mins to open a page and really slows my machine down.

And think up a wittier name for it than the wasteland mkII!

I don't think we should have just some pre-set topics. Most of the conversations in the wasteland were more intresting than gd at the time. It got a bit crappy though for a few topics, but I don't think that'll happen again (posting for no reason).

It should just be the same as last time, but with me in charge
