Jessica Collisson received B.S degrees in both Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1999. She joined the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as an Integration and Test Engineer for the Mars Exploration Rovers. She assists in the assembly and functionality testing of engineering models of the flight spacecraft. These models include all stages of the spacecraft including a full up rover. She is also the Lead Engineer for the Surface System Testbed; an area where surface operations and tests for the rovers are performed. When not working in the lab, she enjoys skiing and spending time at her home near the beach reading. For her, the best part of being an engineer is having the opportunity to build a device that will someday be on a different planet, and to have it teach us something in return. Exploring many different areas and then determining which one you enjoy working on the most is her advice to students considering careers in space science and engineering.

To elucidate, I should say that smart and especially pretty girls are a mega turn on for me. I wouldn't mind having dinner with this girl. Given my selective taste, I'd call that a compliment.

Well first off, it was a joke( though I did do a search to get a pic to show, as I can't very well show you the television program ).
Secondly, WOMEN have long necks, not men.
Thirdly, it was really about the fact that normally you see HIDEOUS chicks working at 'smart' jobs.

I think you dorks are missing the rather light point....she's RELATIVELY cute considering she works for NASA for the love of god. Not that I don't see cute chicks or smart chicks, but that those two attributes are COMBINED into one person working where ROCKET SCIENTISTS work. Not like 'accountant' smart ( which isn't impressive ), but like MACHINES LANDING ON ANOTHER PLANET smart...on top of then being attractive.

I know a lot of asian chicks who study really hard and are fairly attractive (some of them anyway) but the problem is that they're all boring, unfunny dorks. So I'm far from impressed. Eh, personality goes a long way. As for intelligent girls in general, I prefer the creative, funny, literary ones (the genuine, non-melodramatic ones of those), not the ones who know a lot of math and science.
