I knew about the Stratford (Newham Council - London) bunker as that's just down the road from me. What I only found out the other day was that Wanstead Tube station (also "on my manor") was converted into Britain's largest underground arms factory for the duration of WW2.
There's an old bunker in Essex that's used for airsoft games (like paintball..) called - Fallout Airsoft!!
