Custom actors

I made some custom actors to have 2 different colors on their armor (one color for the base and a seperate one for team) and this works fine but it seems that the weapons they hold change along with the modified base color is there a way to customize the actors with 2 colors so that the weapon doesnt change color also? I have tried leaving actors with the default color scheme and changing the base and team color of the armor itself but that doesnt seen to do anything so can someone please help me out with this?

Never observed it. I'm assuming you mean the weapon in actor's sprite and not the inventory(If it's the inventory no way it can happen).
I think which part of the sprite gets colored is dependable on the top slider(not the bottom one with the color depth). Try playing with that for a while.

I don't believe there is any way around it. Just make sure you use darker colors or something you won't mind so much. This also changes the color of the entity's blood (green anyone? eheh).
