Help with Silent Storm Patch

Post by Menno »

Me no smart. Me need some help. Me received Silent Storm today in the mail and installed it and me had lots of fun. Afterwards me went online to check to see if there are any patches available. This is where me has a problem. Me went to www.nival.com and found a patch for the Nazi [German] version, patch version 1.11. Me then went to the Silent Storm site and found a different patch, one for version 1.2. Me not sure though if this is the Amerikkkan patch or for a foreign version, since Nival doesn't have the patch listed on their site. Question me asking you is which do me download?

HA! Good Fun!

From what I understand, the game for sale here already has the patch. No need to install anything, just play and be happy.

Why not just use an ISO? Far superior to a no-cd hack.

A data "image" of the CD. You run the disc from your hard-drive with software like Daemon Tools.
Basically, it's about copying the contents of a CD into a one big file (~700Mb) that can be either opened & run with software or burned into an empty CD-tray.

Games these days don't need ISOs to run. Most, if not all games these days use full installs but only use the CD for verification purposes. A good crack will eliminate that. Of course, I burn all of my games onto ISOs just in case anything fucked up happens to them.
