know anything about the Masonic Order? educate me within.
the recent news article about a guy getting shot in the noggin during a masonic ritual spiked my interest. since i know nothing about the masons i am curious if anyone here can give me a little bit of info. apparently my great-grandfather was one but my parents don't want to talk about it, which is annoying and screams of interesting stories.

masons are a bunch of secretive bastards who keep their own little bible no one is allowed to read. my step moms father is one and he gets uber perks from it. slap the sticker on your bumper and learn a hand signal and you can get into anywhere easy.

There is a lot of ground to be covered about the Masonic Order, any specific points you want covered? For now a website will say a lot more than I’m willing to type.

Problem is, there is almost nothing actually written by them that just anybody can read because of their secrecy and system of initiation. Because of this, its hard to know if you’re getting a straight story or some crazy bullshit conspiracy nuts and religious zealots are writing.

Well, part of the whole mystery surrounding The Freemasons is the fact that you cannot just join them like you would, say, the Boy Scouts. I suppose that part of the allure of it is for that reason.
Hmm. It seems that all of the people on that list are well-to-do white men. So that counts me out. Oh well.CloudNieGT wrote:Big-ass list
