Well that was interesting. Kind of REALLY fast paced straight into it at 120 mph, but I still have every intent of seeing this movie.

That looked damn good. I guess the below could be a spoiler though there isnt really any plot? DO NOET RED IF U GONNA H8!
----------------------------
So the zombies are fast now, or at least they are when they are first infected, I have no idea how they are after a few days. That’s one thing. Time necessary to rise as a zombie has dropped from three days to a few minutes, but still involves Solanum infections. All in all infection seems much more 28 days later style. The actual story is different from dawn of the dead from what I saw, but I was already expecting that. As for its overall quality as a film, it captures the artistic camera shots used from dawn of the dead, but adds scariness to the film. The original had none of the SMASH A ZOMBIE GONNA EAT YOUR HEAD!!!!!111 horror, and I'm not entirely sure if I like that or not. Still, the chicks husband head butted through a door and tried to eat her legs, witch made for some good action. I certainly want to see it after those 10 minutes, in fact there are plans laid to see it opening days with a few friends, including jetbaby.
Edit: The gore looks a lot like it did from the original, with the stringy flesh being torn from victims in vicious bites, though the blood is less pink, and people aren’t wearing gray face paint.

The original Dawn of the Dead was pwn. Everyone should see it before you see the new one.
The whole fast zombies thing is stupid to me. I liked how the original was more tongue-in-cheek stupid, such as the part where the biker randomly jumped into the blood pressure monitor machine while he was being attacked by zombies and they ripped him away and only his arm remained and the machine said "Blood Pressure: 0"
Still, the new one looks damn promising. Zombies are probably one of the only fictional creations that scare the shit out of me and give me nightmares. The fact that the zombies are more 28 Days Later-esque makes them a lot scarier. I just hope they don't turn it into another Resident Evil movie.

I don't think fast zombies are scary. They're called vampires. Zombies should be a shuffling mass that pops up off-camera and they drag some guy down. Unless you're a horny teenager hiding, then your zombified partner finds you and it gets dark.
It looks semi-intresting. Not sure if it will be as good as the re-make of night of the living dead though, or even return of the dead.

Saw it and kinda liked it. I never thought slow moving zombies were scary, except when I first saw Night of the living dead as a kid. The rest were more comedy than horror. If the new version of Dawn makes it a little more serious people might dig it.
What I'd like to see is a Day of the Dead remake, except they move away from the underground military base and keep travelling across the post apocalyptic US like in the first 30 minutes.

It's called "Shaun of the Dead." It's a British comedy about zombies that's coming out soon.

The first film I saw with fast zombies was 21 days later, I must say I like the idea with fast zombies since it elevates the feeling of fight for survival you get in zombie flicks.
Slow zombies are cool too in their own sluggish not so fast moving way, but with slowboys people getting bitten(or killed) seem so goddamn retarded. Instead of outrunning the zombies they stand screaming or fall over or whatever.

Haha, 21 days later? Regardless.
SPOILERS OF THE OPENING TEN MINUTES----------------
I mean come on. Running zombies were shown the path of righteousness and glory. Did you see when she escaped from the house in her car? It was running in a crazy flailing motion after her and as she hit the corner he stopped running after and slowly stopped, looked to his side, screamed, and chased some lady who was out getting her paper.
