Gore is about what you'de expect, some people thought it was too gory, some didn't. Probably afew though there wasn't enough gore. I thought it was pretty good, there were enough heads shot off and chainsaw wounds (Although one particular one was pretty gory, not going to say which) to keep me happy.
Harriers for the cup.
Yeah. I thought gore was really fitting. I loved the movie, it's definately worth the dollar value (unless you're somewhere crazy where there are $100 tickets).

yeah, thats what the invoice says, nevermind th lipstick, wine and coke stains
*Mild spoiler*
The chainsaw accident at the end was unexpected, prob the most gory part of the flick. Overall the action was pretty "realistic", in that the guns didnt do more damage than they should, like in an Arnold movie. Everyone was a great shot it seemed tho, usually hitting the mark with 1 bullet... i expect those with training to be good like that, but most wouldnt have been that accurate probably... small complaint tho.

I dunno, I thought that the shooting was pretty much fine. For the most part all of the shots were made from point blank range to the point that you could literally reach out and touch them. The only long shots were made by was it.. Andy? The gun dealer. Notice that most people did miss or just hit torso or limb unless they were told to aim at the head and were next to their targets.

Nope. It lacked social commentary, AND it sucked for other, independant and dependant reasons. For instance, Romero's film had two independant and hostile human groups going around the mall. This provided a human element gone in all the plots save the fairly horrifying (and, IMHO, the best sub plot) pregnant story.Wolfman Walt wrote:So it sucked simply because it lacked Social commentary..........wow you're a talented critic.
1) Too many characters. I did not care for anybody
2) Unessicary, Romero did a near pefrect B movie
3) Focused too much on special effects.
That good enough?
My sentiments exactly. Is it that the social commentary was lacking? or that times have changed and you didn't see what they had to say. I thought the "social commentary" was excellent.Wolfman Walt wrote:So it sucked simply because it lacked Social commentary..........wow you're a talented critic.
