Something I made accidentally from scribbles while fucking around in Photoshop in my Digital Media class. Part of a series of poster creation assignments.
Quote comes from my friend Dakota.

Hey, the font idea is keen. I can't believe I didn't think of that!
Keep in mind, I was going for readability due to the fact it was a poster assignment. But I'll rework it.
The red circles are the circle airbrush at like size 600 with 20% opacity in multiply mode and create a venn diagram-esque effect when they overlap other circles.
Edit: My art teacher says the hammer is "trite" and says the piece as a whole is one of my weakest. Funny that, you guys love it. Thanks.

I actually don't care for it much. I think it's the warm colors. I'm more a fan of blues/greys. I do kind of like the style, but compared to a lot of other things you've posted, this is kind of crap.Neon Dingo wrote:Edit: My art teacher says the hammer is "trite" and says the piece as a whole is one of my weakest. I think I agree with your teacher.
Pretty good. I don't like the unicorn's body (shoulders down) much, it doesn't seem to add anything. The head is great, though. If I were you I'd just make the head bigger and cut out the body.
Yeah, right. It's just a phrase that's constantly repeated in nihilist texts. Goddamn nihilists.Neon Dingo wrote:Quote comes from my friend Dakota.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Nah, my friend coined the quote. All the nihilist sites hijacked it.

For some odd reason, it looks like it'de be a propoganda poster for Russia. Even more so for East Germany. By the way, your art teacher is full of crap, I think its a great piece of art. I don't care for the text message, but it adds to the feel of it and makes it better overall.
Harriers for the cup.
hmmm... I cant view anything from deviantart.com ... it gets stuck on the page where they have their flash announcement/intro... strange.
There are no 'knowns'. There are thing we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. So when we do the best we can and we pull all this information together, and we then say well that's basically what we see as the situation, that is really only the known knowns and the known unknowns. And each year, we discover a few more of those unknown unknowns.
