Anyone played Splinter Cell 2: Puppy Hat yet?

I was wondering if it was worth the download.

The multiplayer looks like it's going to be amazing, but I don't really care for the single player all that much.

Uh, download it and try?
It's not like it would be 118.56 Mb or anything.

I am, thought it was going to be a lot bigger.

Check out these movies of the multiplayer. They kick fucking balls. Right click, "Save Target As."

Mercenaries work in first person mode and spies work in third person mode. 2 on 2. So great.

Well, I played the SP demo and I liked it, so I bought the game today.

Unfortunately, it froze during the install... :confused2:

If I remember correctly, Multiplayer has this weird bug where if you search for like 10 seconds for a game, it freezes. Hopefully that got fixed? I'm just waiting for it to come out on PS2 because I need more reason then "Resident Evil Outbreak" to buy an online adapter for that thing.

Got it installed, played it for about 6 1/2 hours straight (singleplayer). Pretty damn good thus far. Nothing revolutionary, though, but I've heard that's what multiplayer is for :)

I can't seem to get the single player or multiplayer demos to work. I don't have adequate pixel shading support. GeForce4 MX 440. Go figure.

The Xbox version looks intriguing because of the voice support function.

Does the PC version have that too?

When I installed the full game, it actually told me I needed to update my video card drivers. Maybe that's yer problem?

Yep. Haven't used it yet, but it's there.

No, the MX series doesn't have pixel shader technology. I had the same problem when I bought Deus Ex 2, it just won't work. Which sucks cause now I have buy a new video card for a game that I'll probably hate anyways.

?I played both the MP and SP demos. SP was basically the same as the first... but you can whistle (woohoo.). MP was ... mildly enjoyable, though the searching was completely tweeked out. I dunno. I may pick it up when prices drop, because unless it has an extraordinary plot, it'll just be a remake of the first with slightly upped graphics and a mediocre multiplayer.
