How about joining up with some of the FO2 modders, and trying for a real FO3 from FO2 mod?

Stupid, yes.

One thing NMA has over DAC is the file database. They've got all sorts of files for FO1&2....DAC has none. People go to NMA for the files, find out they've got a board, and join up.

What does DAC have? News...Which is good for some people who just want some info, then leave...But people want more than just potatoes on a webpage..They want meat.

People want a site that's informative, convenient, and has the files (mods, patches, conversions, whatever) they're looking for instead of just information about said files.

Hell..Even a FOT Clan would encourage people to come...And if they like FOT, chances are they're fans of FO1&2.

Duck And Cover is fairly well known, but it's dying because it's really just a nekkid site with nothing to offer except news.

Notice that even after FOBOS was released, not many new people came to DAC's boards...They saw the site, read some news, clicked a few links, and lost interest.

Only reason I'm here and not NMA is because most of the people from V13 came here, and I rather enjoyed those people..

NMA has us beat in news too, in fact I used to go there for all my Fallout related needs (though I stopped by here to read the Kiddy Pool). There does need to be some sort of feature that makes us unique other than a forum.

Then again, we get new members about every day. Its just that none of them post.
