Wait. They're basing off the new Batmobile out of something which is not included in the standard chronology of the character? *sigh*

Erh. Burton's Batmobile is the only one there is for me. And The Joker only lives through Jack Nicholson.

I think the last time i heard a similar comment on something was when certain people were putting aside FO:BoS complains.

There's nothing wrong with the vehicule per se. Its just that the vehicule, for all purposes, never existed within context of the character's mythos. The Batmobile they're taking - apparent - inspiration from is almost a tank; also, its used in a graphic novel suggesting a future version of the character. Meanwhile, the movie is apparently based on the characters' past... when he was in training. That's way back.

So basically we're being told the new Batmobile is set in Batman's past, but is based on a future model the character himself never created.

Do i hear contradiction? Yup.

Well its not so much that he's wearing the suit as much as that he looks abit too happy to really be the dark knight. I always pictured batman as in a permenant state of brooding.

I think Christian Bale is a great choice he's got that yuppy fucker look. Perfect for Bruce Wayne who I have always absolutely despised, probably why I hate the comic.

Bale seems to fit the role. If they're going with the idea of showing the character's past, Bale seems to fit the role of the ocasionally smiling playboy. Wayne used that behaviour to fool people. And Bale is soemwhat younger-looking than the other Batmans, which might help.
