Just saw it yesterday, and me and my posslq liked it alot. The scene near the beginning when the nurse is driving around her subdivision is Just Too Cool. And the ambiguous ending is wonderful.
I do have a technical question though: How does this undead virus spread so fast if it is contagious by zombie bite only? Do the zombies stop chewing on a victim as soon as they die? I thought they would tear live victims apart and eat up the pieces. In fact, I seem to recall a zombie eating on a dead guy when the first five people in the mall were just starting to scout around.

i dont know why the didnt pull the "throw propane into the crowd of zombies then shoot it" before they even left the mall. plus when they went to get that chick back from andy's, the could of got just about any gun known to man because we all know american gun stores stock just about any weapon a person can hold.
anyways i liked it.

They take two different approaches to presenting the story and it is difficult, at least for me, to compare the two, but either way, I'll definately say it's worth the money.
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!

It was jolly good, not as good as 28 days or the original though.
It did however have a very very cool start (the drive included) the credit sequence i felt was brilliant as it showed rather more realisticaly then any other zombie film what a governments reaction to such an outbreak would be, riot police etc.
The zombies charging the government person on capital hill was the best little clip.
As for running zombies..... in 28 days (well the infected) they could run and jump but it was offset with them being far more vulnerable and getting tired/starving etc. it just stacks the cards so far against the survivors that it destroys some of the tension that the originals had (like your trapped in a room with 8 zombies canl he get out? now its like trapped in a room with 8 zombies how quickly will he die).
Shaun of the Dead owns all though.

Its by NO means a cheap parody, its a comedy certainly, but isnt a spoof as the trailers make it out to be, theres some decent drama and peformances in it as well.
my mistake, 4 days. it cost less to make that Dawn of the dead, hence cheap, isnt a spoof? of course its a spoof, zombies arent real. though some Haitians may disagree. i havent seen the film so i'll spare you any other judgements i've made about it

In regards to Dawn of the Dead, isn't one zombie movie mostly like any other...i admit, night of the living dead series was good, but the only thing that kept me watching the next one was the addition of new jokes! I even noticed some film reuse between a couple. Zombie movie---Bunch of people turn into living dead (little explaination, usually), a small group with guns runs from them, attepts to escape, and mostly ends up getting eaten...you'd have to be a zombie to watch too many of them...Brains! Brains!
