Post by Jimmyjay86 »

[ -> Update]

The newest sequels to the Jagged Alliance series finally have a developer. The Russian development house Mist Land Games has been picked to bring to life Jagged Alliance 3D and Jagged Alliance 3. Apparently work on the projects has already started according to Adrenaline Vault News.

Yay!

I hope they'll drop off the sci-fi elements this time...

Wow. I re-installed JA2 this weekend and got half-hooked.
Man what an ass-spanking I got.

So the series will live on for another 5-7 years? Hoorah.

Speaking of Jagged Alliance, I'm assuming that the series' former developer called it quits. Sirtech, was it? So, if Sirtech's finito then Wizardry IX has as much of a future as PS:T 2, right?

Nah, Sir-Tech sold the rights for Wizardry IX to Bioware. :evil_laugh:

Maybe Sirtech became Stradegy First? No idea what actually happened to Sir Tech. Regardless, yay.

I believe I saw some new screen shots and suprisingly they looked pretty good. Reaper appears to be back, so atleast my favorite merc still is around.
Harriers for the cup.

Sir Tech's website can still be found from the internet. So I guess they're either alive or their dead, not in some form of disguise.

I don't think SF is Sir-Tech 'cause the JA2:Wildfire5 they released was a bunch of bugs (and I'm not referring to those in Sci-Fi mode) with new textures.

But I look fwd seeing JA3 displayed on my monitor. :crazy:
