That is the most bizarre thing; according to the forum index page, the last post was Jan 1, 1970. We have reverted to the past that never was. It also appears that most of the recent threads are gone.

I vaguely remember reading something about Project Phoenix possibly migrating to the RPGCodex, though given that I barely pay any attention to anything written there, I could be wrong.

Heh, yeah he sorta moved to RPG Codex. What is the point is of moving and continuing to hype the vaporware game of the year? He has no screen shots and website....... I respect Raymondo as a game designer more than EvoG at this point. Anyway, the Project Phoenix forum is no more in case anyone really cares.

Not very nice Jimmy.

Lets go over my list of credits for the past few years on games I've had to develop on for my day job, then to find time for Phoenix which is an indie project being worked on by three people part time and doing a damn fine job....much better than a LOT of crap you see coming out.

Ever think that maybe I have legalities to deal with that don't come as easy for the 'small guy' as it does for the big corporate ass rapers.

I'm trying to avoid an ass raping.

I don't have a website showing off my personal and/or contract work, yet, I have no trouble getting sweet gigs from big name companies on high profile games.

Why the ego trip? Just so you know I'm that good and I don't need to sell phoenix just yet. Yea, anyone can toss a website up, and most do...and it will sit and sit with only preliminary information and 'pre-rendered' screenshot concepts. Is that what you want? Wasn't my choice to toss up a feenix forum here, it was killzig...I was tossed into the deep end and had to swim. *shrugs*

So, I hope this allays all your fears.

Um, no. Its Andy's fault. No WE in that. He wanted to get people talking about it and I really had little choice. So before I'M accused of hyping the game that you all say is vaporware, just be mindful that it wasn't my idea to say anything at ALL til I was ready. Its obvious I'm not even now, so it appears nothing is going on or its dead or I'm Captain Vaporware when in fact you'd be none the wiser if not for the forum.

Yup.

Game's still on and will be very pretty and turn based and post apoc and fun...bye.
