Start saving your money if you want a Fallout 1/2 bundle...

[Game -> Update]

This one goes out to all the people who keep asking where they can find Fallout and Fallout 2 in stores. Well, you can now buy it from Amazon.com.

There's a little catch, though. It costs $70.00. It appears that Fallout is becoming quite the collector's item. The listing says there are "5 new and used from from $68.90." The other 4 range in price from $68.90 to $89.95! That's almost $90.00 for the jewel bundle which cost the majority of us under $10.00.

Okay, here's how that news item SHOULD have looked, King:

My bad...i'll change it around.

Altough, linking Fallout and Fallout 2 to the Interplay website doesn't exactly serve much purpose.

It's more fun to do it each time than to fix all those posts if Interplay gets a website back up.

I know that SS2 and PS:T often go for quite a bit on ebay.

EDIT: and I like the way they say FO contains 'some graphic sex'

I noticed this the other day when looking around for the Fallout Radioactive bundle online.

On Amazon.com, though, Fallout 2 by itself is as low as $15 last time I checked.

It should be a general rule to never believe amazons used selling prices, its just people trying to rip others off.

What? Amazon's merchant system is great. I get lots of out of print books/dvd's off of them. If the person doesn't send your item, or if it's "materially different" than advertised, Amazon refunds up to $2,500 of the purchase!

Just the other day, I bought season 1 of The Slayers (anime) for $29.95, even though you can buy it new from Amazon for $120. The case was in mint condition, and the dvd's worked perfectly. Shipping at standard speed is rarely more than $3.50 too. The convience can't be beaten!

ebay still is the king of sellers...a lot of d auctions still start as low as $1 for most classic games including fallout and torment.

Just think if Interplay had printed copies of Fallout and Fallout 2 instead of their stocks. They might be able to buy an office now.

No, they're full-out Fallout, except in Polish. Poland was the only place where the game were left intact with regards to violence and kids.

Well, you can buy the set thing that Avalon published for a lot cheaper in the UK...but I'm not sure what, if any, things were changed.
Avalon's Fallout Set

The original Interplay published titles are indeed a rarity nowadays, though.
