Wasn't there some kind of mouse for the SNES and the PSX?

I can't see why not...

s4ur0n27 - there is a mouse and keyboard for PSX/2, Xbox, and... uh... well, I don't know about GC, it's strange. They're rather hard to find though.

Hmmm, any USB set should be ok if you think about it...
Serious Business.

Gamecube wasn't built nor will it have Internet capabilities (To my knowledge) so Nintendo felt there was no need for a mouse and Keyboard.

PS2 was made with the eventual integration of a modem/broadband so it has two USB ports for games like "Everquest" or "FFXI".

X-Box is just a underpowered PC for the most part (technically its still pretty graphically advanced) and ofcourse Microsoft likes the idea of "You can buy the MS keyboard to give use more money." Ofcourse......I think the same idea applies to Sony for that one.

The PSX had a Mouse option. I think the PS1 version of X-Com was one of the only games that used it.

SNES had a mouse too....but I think Mario Paint was the only game to use it?
Harriers for the cup.
