That depends on how much of the shit that Interplay drug it through sticks to it with the next series of games. Bethesda very easily could make Fallout 3 so that Fallout Tactics and Fallout Enforcer are canon and build from the ideas that were in those games.

If I recall correctly, in spite of being a subpar game, Fallout Tactics sold quite well.

Well, the devs are saying they are fans of the original games... but eh, Chucky was too.

If I recall correctly, shortly after Fallout Tactics: BOS was released, MicroForte went belly up when their game tanked.

IIRC, wasn't Micro Forté developing a MMOG?

No, Chucky was a fan of shooting things with plasma rifles and the concept of interactive hookers.

FOT tanked hard when word of mouth got around. Micro Forte got burned bad in the deal since Interplay didn't feel like paying them for their work. Wackiness ensued.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

The only hype for FOT was the between the demo and the actual game. Like Spazmo said, once FOT came out, people actually noticed it was shit.

They actually diverted a lot of the Fallout Tactics funding to fund that MMORPG.
