I hope the train had a "brahmin" catcher.

It's not the same style as in FO though. It's retro... but different.

How come everything in Van Buren looks all.. Inflated? Like they're all balloons or something. Even the screenshots with the people looked like blow up dolls.

I think it's slightly cartoony, not sure if that's the 50s style or not.

I still think 3D fails to bring justice to the FO canon. Looks too clean.

Partly because it wasnt a finished product I belive.

Also, 3D has never looked that good for realism.

Well, I had a little fun with the renders on NMA with this post:
  • Those renders look almost as good as the ones in Fallout Enforcer. Of course, it was the same artists that did both, wasn't it?

Honestly, I really want to know.. How come every character model and vehicle in the game looks like blow up dolls?

    Just for comparason:

    Image Image

By the way, you left out two of the vehicles in Van Buren. Here's the the render of the plane and the render of the jetski.
Really, though, a lot of people were panning Fallout Enforcer for it's shitting looking modelling and graphics, but those renders look about the same as the models in Fallout Enforcer. Click on my almost as good as link up above for a screenshot of the Fallout Enforcer renders. They have the same balloony style as the ones in Van Buren.

It'd be rather silly to claim one looks good and the other looks like shit. IMO, they both leave a lot to be desired.

The blow up doll looks like a frenchman in the cartoons D:

The FOPOS renders looks like dumbed down handpainted warhammer models.
