As part of the new DaC, we're looking at providing more content that's suited to the community's needs. So what kind of shit do you want?

While it's a long way off yet (I've got to clean up some mess around this place first - along with doing a clean install of the forums to fix some bugs and what-not), feature requests you make now will help us work out what we can do for you.

EG: People have mentioned having a database system of PA movies / PA books and PA games. Well, what kind of database system do you want? You want to be able to add your own reviews to things? Rate things on a scale of 1 - 1001?

Gimme some examples of stuff you'd like to see and what you want to be able to do with it.

IMHO, ratings are useless. But a database of stuff with Title, Author, Date, Description, etc would be good. I think it would be great to see if there were any interesting works I have missed. Also interesting would be the ability to add cover scans for books or videos.

A feature request I would like would be to bring back the (apparenlty, since last night) broken new post notification system.

It being non-functional and all.

I've always wanted weekly updated articles on the site, kinda like how Something Awful has photoshop stuff every friday. Maybe a fallout article every friday.

Would be cool to have a new article a day to read, then having 7 different types.

Use http://www.duckandcover.cx instead of the http://www.thevats.net domain. The forum is now set up for the new domain rather than the old one, which is why the new one works in terms of updating the new posts and the old one doesn't.

I think it'd be pretty cool to have lists of PA Movies with little blurbs of info about them on each of them. Same with PA books. Kinda like what RPGC does with games and game makers and so on.

Then maybe do something with the Art and Fic forums. Start art/fic contests maybe, awards being custom titles, or mention on the front page.

Yes. And each DAC user (only who's seen/read it already) could write a review for the benefit of the other people to decide what to see.

I like Goose's suggestions. Maybe have a PA Art forum, for games, books, movies, erotica, clay sculptures, and baloon animals in a post-apocolyptic genre. Then people can comment on upcoming things, or review past ones they have seen, or whatnot.

Probably a horrible idea, but I never want for those.

And agree with Goose on the Fan content sections I do. I also want to shaft Goose with my fucking whale dick that that bitch needs. I'm gonna break his ass in two.
