That is very interesting. Does that mean there is some way to create barriers such as oceans or rivers on the map, or is that also hard coded?

No, it is hard coded. You are stuck with the barriers there already are which means you will have to include the same barriers.

My map has no boundaries on it, although it is significantly smaller than the default one.

I heard somewhere that if you used alpha channel on your PNG that the dark spots would be impassible, but I never tested that out.

That's what we were told, but OTB tried without success to duplicate it. Either they hardcoded it, or there was an option to import the impassable terrain data seperately which wasn't included in the released editors.

They sure didn't care to include everything with the editors anyway.

Could always just go with all land though. Although its nice to be able to see continent shapes and lakes and stuff.. oh well.

I agree with the editors being cut down versions. if you load up the tutorials you can see they used a couple of triggers that arnt available unless you load the tutorials triggers into another mission.

I replaced all the startin items for my campaign, heres the list of them:

I think they went a little overboard with so many different possible starting items. Sheesh.
