Well, my favorite band is Queen. And it just so happens that Brian May also did the music for Mad Max.

Queen is teh shit, so just listen to them.

As for post apoc songs? Hammer to Fall kinda?

Queen are my favourite band too..... but the Brian May who did Mad Max is a different Brian May to the guitarist from Queen......

Hammer to Fall is a great post apocalyptic song...

How can music be "Post Apocalyptic?"

That's absurd.

Anyway, I like Industrial, New Wave, Jazz / Funk stuff, Ambient. And, of course, more.

You realize that if you have anyone who likes music "list bands" the list will be incredibly long.

Unless you fill it with Slipknot omg Limp BIZKIT omgaws KORRRN shit.

Holla.

I just downloaded my first rap song, I absolutely fucking hate working with people that listen to it because ugh, it gets stuck in my head.

Post-apoc music? Can't think of anything, save for the Mad Max ost.

Anyway, I usually listen to this stuff:

Amon Amarth
Borknagar
Burzum
Children of Bodom
Dimmu Borgir
Einherjer
Finntroll
Iron Maiden
Madder Mortem
Myrkskog
Cannibal Corpse

And some other stuff, too

Why? Because it's all totally awesome, of course.

Eh? Music?

Metallica:
Black Album
Kill 'Em All
St. Anger
Master of Puppets

Say what you want about them, but their stuff is great for when you want to beat the shit outta someone.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - THE best music, ever.

I also have:

AC/DC - Back in Black
Creed
Nirvana
Stone Temple Pilots
Counting Crows

Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon - Damn good stuff right there!

Bush
The Smashing Pumpkins
Silverchair
Staind

And here's some stuff that I was stupid enough to buy, but don't listen to anymore:

Linkin Park - It was catchy two years ago, but now it just sucks.
Korn - Follow the Leader - I have NO idea why I bought this. It sucks. Hard.
Kid Rock - see both of the above.

And that's about it.

As for the radio, I listen mostly to classic rock stations. Yup, I'm a hick. Hell, I'm even thinking of growing a mullet!

None of that is metal.

First part is Industrial, Futurepop / EBM and a bit of the heavier stuff.

Second part is general New Wave / Darkwave.

Third part is the kinda misc stuff, I guess Sisters and Sarah could be called Metal, but they could also be called Industrial and Goth. Bizzaro.

Last part is Ambient.

I used to be quite into Techno / Trance stuff too, but I don't like it so much any more.

Here something new I went looking to see if NIN had an official site since the collapse of the original one. And I discovered that he is making a new album called BLEEDING THROUGH. I also heard david grohl from FOO FIGHTERS was drumming a few tracks on the new album. Lets just hope it ain't a pussy fest.

The Zombies
The Turtles
The Byrds
Tommy James & The Shondells
Paul Anka
Neil Sedaka
Del Shannon

I've got a few songs, like one or two. Not my style, again. I'm definately more into the electronic side of the industrial scene, not the metal. That's why I don't go for KMFDM so much, NIN or anything. Wumpscut's about as heavy as I get.
