I'd have to say the movie with the best score of all time would have to be "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly".

Ennio Morricone rocks. That entire trilogy had brilliant scores.

He also did the score to the more recent The Thing move, which I found interesting.

Not necessarily the best, but they havent been said yet and I think they have good soundtracks.

The Ninth Gate
Sleepy Hollow
13th Warrior
Barry Lyndon
Army Of Darkness (Evil Dead 3)

Uh oh... I cant remember anymore... :confused2:

A good soundtrack

I liked the soundtrack that Danny Elfman scored for Batman/ Batman returns.

Alright I went out and got the John Carpenter's Vampires soundtrack and so far it kicks some serious ass. John Carpenter is perhaps one of the most underated composers out there right now.

I'd vote for The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Bernard Hermann is a great composer with his sounds for North By Northwest and Taxi Driver, so those would run a close second and third, I suppose.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I vote Cowboy BeBop. And most things said by Walt. Tack on 13th Warrior (anyone else read the book? It was about a million times better).

mad max had a really good, mostly ambient soundtrack from what i remember......... umm....

and fear & loathing had a great drug induced soundtrack too... (think jefferson airplane playing while Gonzo floated in the tub with a head full of acid)

too many to list... way too many.
