hah, theese last few days my lass has been watching me play Doom3, for about 4hrs/day.
I just pop it out on the TV, and she sits there quietly and watch while I play at the puter.

I play alot fo Heroes Of might and Magic with my girlfriend. Shes a hardcore fan of the Fallout games and Torment as well. But shes propably the only girl I know who play games regularly...

I think we've established that chicks do indeed like video games. They just hate when that's all their boyfriend/husband does when they could be spending quality time playing Super Smash Bros. Melle with them...and then some hardcore sex.

Man my girl friend don't hate games she just hates the ones that suck. We met at a Halo tournament at our local GameStop. She Pwned me in 1 v 1 slayer 15 (her) - 9 (me). She ALWAYS owns me in everything we play. She hates absolutely dreads almost all the games I play like Fo 1/2/tactics and planescape but other than that it's a loving I lose at everything else that isn't Gun Bound when it comes to games. Well I gotta go get owned in CS so see ya!

Girls like multiplayer and deep, involving games. 75% of them are real suckers for consoles while female fans of art-house games (Think PS:T Deus Ex,) are in shorter supply. That's my interpretation of the demographic.

Playing against spouses/girlfriends in deathmatch/whatever can definitely be more enjoyable than going to see some English Patient Chick-Fest. When you're sparring off against the one you love/tea-bag, there's more interactivity between you two.

-I get a whole can of whoop-ass served to me by a female and I still feel great afterwards.

I don't know. I guess I thought ideas like genre-merging and inventory systems were OMG CULT! When it came out, Deus Ex tried something different. It took a small risk in a way.

Oh, I thought you mean in terms of the content of the game and the themes it bears, which is how I'd qualify PST as being arthouse. That other stuff is just interface and game mechanics. Deus Ex is just a game.
