Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy on-set report
<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong>
The <a href="http://www.douglasadams.se/">official Douglas Adams site</a> has an <a href="http://www.douglasadams.se/movie/report.html">on set report</a> on the upcoming <a href="http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/main.html">movie</a> of the book series.
<br>
<br><blockquote>Now, Robbie also showed us the teaser trailer that was shown at the Comic-con about in late July. Again, the hair on my arms stood in attennnnSHUN. It’s a crying shame and tragedy that Douglas didn’t live to see these wonderful things that are happening to his story. And, re the story, I’m sure I’m not allowed to divulge any crucial bits, but I felt warm to discover that a new item invented by Douglas and which I have been talking about earlier is indeed still in the script, and not only that; it plays quite an essential part. </blockquote>
<br>
<br>I'm still undecided on the movie. On the one hand, the script is apparantly one that <b>Douglas Adams</b> himself wrote just before he died; on the other, I'm not sure how much of that 'script' Adams actually wrote, and I'm not too keen on the idea of condensing five books into one 90 minute film.
<br>
<br>UPDATE: I've found that the film is only dealing with the first book in the series, after reading <a href="http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/hitchb ... html">this interview</a> with the scriptwriter.

I have been HitchHiker's guide to the galaxy since I was 10 I remember the tv show and the computer game that came out years ago. I just finished reading The Salmon of Doubt. I liked it although it was depressing because of the lack of Douglas Adams and his wacky writing. I will miss him. As far as the movie is concerned it looks like the folks making are doing it justice which is good but how good is good when they hardly update and they don't show us progress?
Ignore my warnings and pay no heed then your live will be ended shortly indeed!
what does that have to do with hitchikers guide to the galaxy exactly nothing really thats what i thought too so lets not derail this topic and talk about hitchiker anyways i liked douglas adam before he was so hip in a cool retro-esque way if you know what im saying anyway anybody looking forward to this film i know i am perhaps maybe even probably
