<b>George Romero's</b> final film in his ultimate of ultimate zombie series, <b>Land of the Dead</b>, now has an official release date! Here's what the folks over at <a href="http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/">Bloody Digusting</a> had to say:

Planned sequels. There might still be more if that one is a big commercial success.

I am glad I know a definite LoD release date. I know it will be good I just hope that it will be commercially successful so that we will see more of Romero's work before age and time catches up with him. I hope though that he will get to do some filming in Pittsburg because it would feel awkward if it didn't because all of Romero's films have had some parts filmed in Pittsburg. Also I wonder if there is going to be balls to walls zombie fighting like the original script of Day of the Dead. I hope to see many zombie decaps and gore to boot in LoD.
