I think it sounds icredibly great! It would also allow for all methods, both diplomat, fighter, etc. All-in-all an idea I would love to see implemented...

it might be interesting to run across a mechanic in some city who was working on a motorcycle... the same way you get the car... a chopper was one of the things missing hardcore in tactics (i mean besides the fallout feel and a good plot). I wouldn't like to see fallout rally, but I still can't figure out why anyone would, as someone above said, drive into the center of a group of aliens then hop out of the car. If you can run something down, why not do it?
