I am going to send it back, but since it basically sucks and better ones' prices have gone dramatically low, I'll propably just take my money back from the broken graphics card, add 220 in the price and get myself *a lot* better one.
Well it's never happened to me but I hear you can fracture or snap the CPU when remounting the heatsink.
If you aren't careful, you can crack the core when mounting the heatsink. This applies only to Socket A Athlons, Durons, Palominos, Thoroughbred Bs, and Bartons. So, unless you do something really stupid, you don't really have anything to worry about.

Doesn't strictly apply to P4s then does it? The only thing about the new heatsinks for the LGA775 is that they're such a bitch to get on that you might think you have it on and then when you run the computer and check the temperature--oops! Eighty degrees idle! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!
by the way is cooler master thermal compound kit any good, because i have one layin around and i have been meaning to use it but im kind of hesitating to do so.
i have a P4 3.0gHz and most of the time when i check in the bios its on 55-62 degrees celcius.
also another question, arent there any programs for windows that you can check ur fanspeed and cpu temperature?
You are losing it, doesn`t matter, let`s close our eyes and wake up from this dream.....

Never attribute to malice what can satisfactorily be explained away by stupidity.

You can use motherboard monitor, though it's no longer being updated.
Just checked webstores for PCI-Express cards. Apparently, they've stopped bringing X600s completely and X800's will land on the shores no sooner than the 29th. Fuck.
