I know exactly what you mean. I went through his dialogue in every possible combination to find a quest. I think he might have been an party NPC which they never implemented. Or at least, they were planning on using him in the story. It just seemed like he had more background than most townsfolk in that game.

There are some pics of the article at NMA already, TES:Oblivion does look better than DOOM3, that`s for sure.

Edit: and i saw them at the Codex too, so here

D3 definitelly sucks as regards poly count. It has nice shaders though.
