Fallout 3 + turnbased = don't read too much into it

[Game -> Update]

As most of you have probably seen, the turnbased news post I made a few posts down was not meant to mean anything. From <a href="http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/viewt ... =8997">our own forums</a>, MrSmileyFaceDude, our friendly neighbourhood <a href="http://www.bethsoft.com">Bethesda</a> developer, had this to say:

now I am shocked && appalled.

Discussions that involve hurting/killing children are not acceptable on the forums, nor is it acceptable to tell the devs that they will receive certain sexual favors for making the game turned base. Unless your behavior and posts improve, your account will be locked.

Not that this will stop them devs to accept my offer (It still stands fellas, just line up)... but I was actually expecting a finer tuned sense of humour from a moderator.
mebbe they should consider a mature rating on the FO3 thread.
(unethic of me to post this priv msg?? I'd say no all forms of opression must be brought into the open)

I suppose its at times like theese one really starts to appreciate the freedom of DAC....

I was banned from the forums (well, they took away my posting-priviliges at any rate) for maiking the comment, that some of our "own boys (PipBoy)" were actually worse than their fanboys... Apparently, the hungry-heifer dude over there saw that as flaming. When I told him it was not (jeeze, I'm actually helping his side and he gets pissed), and reworded my post to say what I wanted to say, he took away my posting privilidges and warned me of a ban... WTF???

BTW, MrSmileyFaceDude, thanks for the talk the first time, apparently another mod over at your place didn't agree with you (you're a dev though, doesn't that make you THE authority?) and banned my first account... could you maybe, like, unban at least ONE of my accounts over there???

Nah, I'm not going to get into a ban-fight or discuss reasons for banning & not banning. That can't lead to anything good.

The thing you have to remember is, the Elder Scrolls forums are official, company-run forums, and as such the company has made the decision to keep them clean & family-friendly as possible. There are other "unofficial" forums with more lenient rules, but the Elder Scrolls forums aren't going to change.

I know, but what really irks me about that ban was that I never flamed! I mean, ha dI flamed, sure, OK, ban me, that's the rules, but banning me for flaming when I never did, that makes me shake my head in amazement at... well, I want to say "at the stupidity" but that wouldn't help my case... :-/
